Through the burlap the artist expresses the nature of the animal in motion. Burlap is the very essence of the raw nature of this incredible wildlife that surrounds us. From domestic animals to wild animals, creation is directed towards all those who are essential to the preservation of our environment. Deeply ecologist, Jean-Philippe Leplat warns about the preservation of wildlife and tells through his sculptures his attachment to these terrestrial lives.
Jean-Philippe HAUSEY-LEPLAT lives and practices in the Pays d'Auge, in Normandy. His creations based on burlap from bags that have traveled is known and recognized in the landscape of animal artists.
