MILCENDEAU Pascal

Pascal Milcendeau, a painter from Vendée, has developed a unique pictorial universe where generous shapes, supple lines and intense colours intertwine. Inspired by his many travels, he captures the soul of the places he passes through and transcribes their essence on canvas. His works, imbued with great vitality, reveal lively scenes of life, bathed in light and music. While the joy of living dominates, he also breathes a deeper reflection on the standardisation of the world and the uniformisation of cultures. Local architecture, colourful markets, street scenes and the daily lives of the inhabitants nourish his imagination and serve as a framework for his compositions.

Back in the tranquility of his studio, he transforms his photographic snapshots into vibrant paintings, where each line and each color tells a story. His works are now in private collections in France, the Netherlands, the Emirates, Morocco, Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan.
