Collection: CONVENANT Daniel (major exhibition 2026)

Daniel Convenant is currently pursuing a new artistic exploration where ink becomes a natural extension of his movement. After years dedicated to textured painting, nourished by bitumen and the quest for time, his work is shifting toward a more refined expression, inspired by calligraphy and Asian aesthetics.

A few strokes are now enough to bring a landscape, a tree, or a presence to life. Black dialogues with white, fullness with emptiness, in a balance where every trace carries the energy of the gesture. Between abstraction and evocation, his inks invite the viewer to slow down, making room for the imagination and contemplation.

This series reveals another facet of Daniel Convenant: more stripped-back, quieter, yet still inhabited by the same inquiry into time, nature, and spirituality.

Each work testifies to a great freedom of execution, where technical mastery fades in favor of emotion and the essential.
