Collection: PACHET-MICHENEAU Gyslaine
Gyslaine Pachet Micheneau lives in Touraine. Always attracted to painting, especially landscapes and themes related to spirituality, she sketches, draws and paints in ink or charcoal on the motif then develops her landscapes in acrylic or oil on canvas in his workshop. She is also fond of watercolour. At first self-taught, she then joined a studio to learn painting for several years, with nature as her main source of inspiration. She moves towards more symbolic subjects linked to spirituality, with in particular her series on the Templars, driven by her interest in the history of her region.
The works are light, elegant and representative of his pleasure in painting in watercolour, then in oil and acrylic. His fluid and disciplined painting is unctuous and expressive. It is linked to his learning of techniques alongside a watercolourist and then to his journey in total self-taught. The delicacy infused in his work, the beauty of his movements come to freeze a memory, a feeling, a moment of peace nestled in the heart of nature. The play of light, the reliefs of the material and the chromatic vibrations invite us to penetrate into the creations.
