Collection: BERNARDI Anne-Marie

For over thirty years, this artist has been developing an instinctive and deeply colorful pictorial universe, where material and light play an essential role. Trained at the Bordeaux/Caudéran School of Fine Arts and then enriched by various lessons in watercolor, pastel, and abstract painting, she has, over the years, built a personal style combining contemporary sensibility and spontaneity of gesture.

Working primarily with acrylic paint, she enjoys exploring the richness of this medium through multiple layers, applied with brushes, sponges, or directly with her fingers. This physical and intuitive approach gives rise to vibrant works, full of energy and emotion.

Long inspired by the animal world and the intensity of gazes that she skillfully rendered with force, the artist is now directing her research toward marine landscapes. Horizons, the movement of water, plays of light, and oceanic atmospheres now fuel her creation. Her new works invite an inner journey, balancing the power of the elements with contemplative gentleness.

Her work, at once free, sensitive, and resolutely contemporary, leaves ample room for emotion and the viewer's personal interpretation.
