Valérie Gibault invites us to touch the Earth and enter a universe of “possibilities”.
Her approach combines technical mastery and intuition, where each gesture reflects a deep sensitivity. She naturally gravitates toward animal sculpture, fascinated by the uniqueness of each species. Each animal becomes a challenge: capturing it in its movement, its energy, and its singular presence.

Before modeling, she observes and studies her subject, exploring their gestures and way of life.
The wilder the animal, the more she seeks to tame it through material and line.
His works reflect a particular attention to the destiny of animals in our human world.

She strives to restore their grandeur, strength, and dignity with accuracy and poetry. She uses different stoneware, modulating textures and finishes to translate her vision. Patinas, enamels, and raku become all means of expressing movement and emotion. Bronze offers her a new space for expression, giving her sculptures a timeless presence.

Each creation becomes a dialogue between instinct, observation and matter, giving life to the animal in its singularity.
