Collection: NUZZO Valeria
Italian architect and artist Valeria Nuzzo lives and works in the Campania region of southern Italy. Specializing in the design of living spaces, alongside her work as an architect and teacher, she pursues artistic research informed by her reflections on image, matter, and the creative process. A doctor in urban design at the Federico II University of Naples, she has devoted her work to the relationship between art, education, and visual perception, developing a sensitive approach to artistic language.
Her painting is born from an inner necessity: to express, rather than represent, the natural and psychological world. Using mixed media—bitumen, acrylic, clay, sawdust, and precious metals—Valeria Nuzzo creates works of intense material and symbolic presence. Her canvases, oscillating between abstraction and poetic figuration, evoke the primary forms of life: seeds, marine forces, mineral imprints, and archetypal signs.
In this dialogue between density and light, raw material and golden bursts, the artist explores the mystery of life and the creative power of nature. Each work thus becomes a space for meditation, a silent celebration of origin and vital energy.
