For the exhibition, Gyslaine Pachet Micheneau unveils a series of canvases where the sea becomes a pictorial language, oscillating between movement and contemplation. Her compositions convey the power of the elements as much as the gentleness of familiar shores. Through palette knife painting, she constructs vibrant surfaces where light diffracts on water and horizons. The maritime scenes waver between sensitive realism and poetic interpretation, leaving room for the viewer's imagination. We find her deep attachment to the landscapes of her childhood and to port atmospheres. The rich and expressive material gives the waves and skies an almost tactile presence.
